I had a bad day today.
Let me preface this by saying that I know there are people who have it far worse than I do.
I had to attend a horrible meeting with people I see once a year at best. It’s hard to explain what they do without outing details of where I work, but I will say that these are the kind of folks who don’t really have a lot of experience in a corporate office. On top of that, a bunch of them...
Two years ago today...
my now husband proposed to me.
We celebrated the occasion with a pre-dinner beer, pulled pork sandwiches, spinach salad and red wine.

WatchMeb Keflezighi is my good friend/co-worker/Eritrean brother’s cousin. I’ve heard so much about him over the past six years, so seeing him win the marathon was just incredible. What an amazing achievement.
The entire family is composed of the loveliest, sweetest people you could ever hope to meet. I feel so lucky to know them and draw such inspiration from them. Go Meb! :-)
